Description:
Pair of lady's wedding shoes, champagne colour and made from silk or satin. There are small white leather strips in a fan shape stitched on the front. Just above the insole is a small rectangular blue piece of material attached with yellow stitching that has "Chic SHOES". Underneath attached to the brown sole it has "5" etched on the surface.

The shoes were worn by Mary Wellock on her wedding day (married to Alfred Barnaby Eames) on June 2nd 1931 in Napier.
