Description:
Black beaded collar similar to a 'parure', is a cross between a piece of clothing and a piece of jewellery. Worn at the front over the top of a blouse, its function was purely ornamental. The two ties meet at the back of the neck and are adorned with tassles. It is made from black cotton thread and black glass beads.
