Rheumatic Cure
2oz sasparella root. Boil in 1 qt water to reduce to 1 pt then add 2 drachma Iodide of Potassium. Take a wine glass full night and morning.

Miss Sisctus went to Emily.

Saturday 15th June
Nasty wet cold day. Robert in bed all day. Self not well either. Not much work done everything in a muddle will have to clean up later.

Sunday 16th June
Very wet cold day and windy. Nobody came to meeting, had bible reading. David, Grandpa Robert and self read Eph 1 Ch. Afternoon evening miserable and wet.

Monday 17th June
Baked bread and cleaning up. Fairly fine.

Tuesday 18th June
Miserable wet day. Sissa and Gertie got up very early cooked breakfast and went to school early. Alex Robertson took sheep to sale. David went down to sale. Sheep realised 1 O7 @ 12 2/@9/—
Washed today.

Tuesday 25th June
Casing up Sturmer Pipins 8 cases. Sent away 2 cases to Wellington and David sent 2 bundles of plants. 2 young men (Pearson) came from home by the ( Rotorua.

Wednesday 26th June
David went to Palmerston Show for a change. The 2 young Pearsons went too to look around.

Monday 1st July
David came home this evening. Got a wire Aunt Kate is sinking. David ordered trees from Weightman. Made quilt for boys bed. Weather clearing a little. Every peace muddy & wet. Robert none too good.

Tuesday 2nd July
W bit dull looking today. Girls up early didn't go til 9.30. Busy getting ready to go to Feilding with grandpa to see Aunt Kate.
