Description:
Mantel Clock which is made from china or porcelain. On the front there are flowers that have been painted purple, white, yellow and orange with a crimson centre surrounded by leaves. The top part of the clock has been painted in a green shade and the bottom part is brown. There is scroll work near the top. Around the part which encases the glass cover of the dial there is a gold coloured brass or metal which has an engraved pattern. On the dial near the top there is a small diamond and square pattern with the letter "A". Further below it has "MANUFACTURED BY THE ANSONIA CLOCK CO. NEW YORK UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". On the back on the far left hand side there is an engraved letter and number, "H 2742". Further towards the middle on the back it has printed in a red, brown colour, "Royal" with a crown below it, a number which is possibly "1755" Bonn Germany" along with some other letters which have faded.
