Description:
Money box which is rectangular in shape. It is a red colour and possibly made out of metal. On the front it is embossed with a royal coat of arms and the motto of the British monarchy God and my right, "DIEU ET MON DROIT". Beneath the coat of arms it has "POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK". On the top part of the spine there is a crown and on the lower part it has the initials "POSB". On the top it has engraved, "141876". On the bottom there is a slot for the placing of coins and engraved it has, "PATENT 371140 AND 3750 JEWSBURY CO". On the left hand side of the slot there is a small circular hole, and engraved it has, "FOR NOTES". On the right hand side there is a lock, no key at present.
