Description:
Money box made from tin and oval in a shape resembling a letterbox. It is painted red with black lines and wording. On the front below the top of the box there is a slot to put money in, around the slot it has "POST OFFICE LETTERS". On the front in the middle it has "HOURS OF COLLECTION", 6.30 AM, 8.15, 11.30, 1.30PM, 4.30, 7.0" and the initials "GR", George Regina for the King George VI of England who reigned from 1936 to 1952. On the back it has "MADE IN ENGLAND, BURNETT, LTD LONDON".

This money box has been made specifically for children, on the back painted in black on the surface there are nine small individual pictures of a Parachute, Humpty Dumpty, Wooden Horse, Fox, Cat with a violin, Lighthouse, Dog, Rooster and a Frog.
