Scope & Content:
Postcard depicting the Stonehenge remains in England. In print on the top left hand side it has, Stonehenge is said to have been built as a Temple for the worship of the sun, 3700 years ago. Others say that it was erected in the reign of Aurelius Ambrosius, King of Britain 490, to commemorate the defeat of the Britons by Hengist. The stones were supposed to have been brought from Ireland by the Magic of Merlin.

Dear Harry
Just a line wishing you a merry christmas and a happy new year. at present we are having a very lazy time of it in camp there is another big draft of artillery leaving here shortly for France but I am still left here but expect the next lot that goes will be my turn but I aint in any hurry just yet. as we are having a very easy time of it well I must ring off now. From your Pal Bert.
