Description:
Small brass collapsible stove. Has a lid and arms which fold flat. One arm has a dip in it for resting something like a fork. Underneath has four small rounded feet. Most likely used by the military.
The inscription on the lid: RD 44620. This COULD be the service number of a soldier during World War One — Reginald Liddiard from the United Kingdom who was killed in France 25/09/1918 aged 19.
Unsure how this item to NZ — possibly souvenired by a local soldier.
