Description:
Belt buckle, brownish, gold colour, possibly brass. There is a silvery white centrepiece, possibly metal which consists of a five pointed star, a crescent moon with Arabic script for "Asakr—i—Shahaneh" which translates as (Imperial Army). On the underside of the buckle is a brass rod with two small metal prongs. There is also a brass part at the back which can be seen from the front view and is removable.

The belt buckle was worn by soldiers in the Turkish army, defending the Ottomon empire during World War 1.
