Description:
Badge, which is circular, bronze colour made from brass or metal. At the top there is an engraving of a lion standing on a crown. In the middle it has the initials "NZE", New Zealand Engineers and around the outer part of the badge it has "QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT" which translates (Where right and glory lead). On the back is two small loops.

The New Zealand Engineers Corps was formed in 1903 and were the army's skilled tradesman during World War 1, maintaining communications, railways, roads, bridges, building fortifications.
