Description:
First Field Dressings. Cloth bags contain two dressings. Plastic pakets contain two cloth bags (four dressings). Made by Johnson & Johnson Ltd, Sydney, May 1941. Cloth outer bags have instructions on opening and use. Inside the cloth bag each bandage is encased in a waterproof packet with instructions for opening. Each dressing consists of a gauze pad stitched to a long bandage. Part of a medics kit used in World War Two.
